A former lawyer turned global wanderer turned freelance travel & lifestyle writer, I switched on my corporate ‘Out of Office’ in September 2010 and haven’t looked back since.
Starting with an ambitious round the world trip that took me through South and Central America, Southeast Asia, China, India and the Middle East, my one-year sabbatical morphed into a lifestyle choice and opened the door to a new career. Turning my writing hobby into a full-time freelance business, I have been published both in print media and online with a focus on travel, food & drink, health and other lifestyle topics.
I’m experienced in writing for SEO, uploading content to the popular blogging platforms, including WordPress, promoting my content in social media circles, and sourcing free images via permissions or use of Creative Commons.
Although I’m a British native, my clients are international and my content can be supplied in British or US English as required.
Ten years of legal training has left me with a firm commitment to deadlines and a keen eye for detail.
