Flashpacker Hostels: Redefining Communal Sleeping

Bed bugs, hair-ridden showers and unspeakable toilet facilities put many solo travelers off the communal living style associated with hostels. And in many of the pack-em-in doss houses that offer cheaper than cheap rates, some as low as a few dollars a night, this is often the reality that sends travelers in search of a hotel. However, it is not the only reality.
